I did something I never expected back in July of this year. But then again, could we have expected ANYTHING from this year?! #2020

I won’t be able to read aloud some of my favorite books to a classroom full of eager readers this year. And that breaks. my. heart. Making the decision to leave the classroom was anxiety ridden to say the least.. with everything going on in the world... again #2020.. I felt helpless and out of control. However, I was reminded by some amazing people that I do have control! I have the ability to make a decision that would be best for our family.
Not being able to set up my classroom this year was.. weird. I felt out of place! Instead, I moved into our guest room closet! My family gave me the weirdest looks when I told them I was creating my very own cloffice >> closet-office!

Today, I’m leaning on God. We never know where he is going to take us in life! But I thank him everyday for his blessings. 🙌🏻
